ABSTRAKSI: Sistem layanan TelkomInfo ini merupakan proses interaksi yang bisa memudahkan pihak PT. Telkom dengan pelanggannya melalui handphone untuk menikmati layanan-layanan Telkom. Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan hak akses kepada calon pelanggan untuk registrasi sebagai pelanggan baru yang disebut permintaan pasang baru (PSB) dan hak bagi pelanggan untuk mengakses layanan–layanan yang tersedia. Aplikasi ini bisa menampilkan informasi yang ada di PT. Telkom meliputi tagihan rekening telepon, permintaan pasang baru,laporan gangguan, layanan mutasi, komentar, dan informasi terbaru tentang Telkom tanpa harus datang ke kantor Telkom. Pada saat pelanggan mengakses aplikasi tersebut maka server akan mengirimkan informasi ke handphone pelanggan. Aplikasi tersebut menggunakan sebuah WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) server serta WAP Browser pada sisi client. Untuk menampilkan suatu situs tersebut, WAP mendefinisikan suatu bahasa markup WML (Wireless Markup Language).
Pada proyek akhir ini telah dibuat aplikasi “Layanan TelkomInfo Berbasis Teknologi WAP”, dimana calon pelanggan dan pelanggan dapat memperoleh informasi tagihan telepon, informasi terbaru, layanan PSB, layanan mutasi, laporan gangguan dan fasilitas pemberian kritik dan saran. Aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan dengan mudah dan cepat dengan biaya murah daripada menggunakan fasilitas biasa seperti layanan informasi 109 ,117dan 116, yang hanya menyediakan fasilitas informasi tagihan dan laporan gangguan.Kata Kunci : TelkomInfo, Handphone, WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), WML (Wireless Markup Language)ABSTRACT: System service of this TelkomInfo represent process of interaction which can facilitate party of PT.Telkom with its cutomers through handphone to enjoy services Telkom. At the time of cutomers access the application hence server will deliver information to customers’s handphone. The application use a WAP (Wireless Apllication Protocol) server and also WAP Browser at client side. To present a website, WAP define a Ianguage of markup WML (Wireless Markup Language).
In this final project have been made “an Application Services of Telkominfo Base on WAP’s Technology " which prospecting customers and cutomers can obtain some information of invoice of account phone, newest information, mutation service, trouble report and facility of gift criticize and the suggestion. The application can be used easily and quickly with cheap cost than using usual facility phone such as information service 109 , 117 and 116 which only provide facilities of information of invoice and trouble report.Keyword: TelkomInfo, Handphone, WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), WML (Wireless Markup Language)
