ABSTRAKSI: Potensi pariwisata di Indonesia, jika dikelola dengan baik, akan cukup manjanjikan sebagai sumber pendapatan, khususnya pendapatan asli daerah dan devisa Negara pada umumnya, tak terkecuali potensi Pariwisata Kota Semarang yang memiliki beragam potensi pariwisata yang menjanjikan. Salah satu kendala dalam mengeksploitasi potensi pariwisata tersebut adalah kurangnya publikasi sebagai media promosi, dimana di era mobile sekarang ini arus informasi telah menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang tak terelakkan, dengan salah satunya adalah dunia promosi melalui internet berbasis web. Sedang website yang disediakan untuk mempromosikan potensi pariwisata oleh Dinas Pariwisata yang sudah ada sekarang masih dirasa masih kurang informatif dan interaktif dalam menyajikan informasi yang membantu wisatawan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang diinginkan.
Proyek Akhir ini, mencakup perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi pariwisata yang berisikan pemetaan lokasi objek wisata dan fasilitas pendukungnya, seperti hotel, rumah sakit, rumah makan, dsb. Serta akses transportasi untuk mencapai lokasi wisata yang dapat di akses melalui web.
Hasil Proyek Akhir ini berupa sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis web yang memiliki karakteristik antara lain:
1. Menampilkan informasi mengenai obyek wisata dalam bentuk teks dan gambar
2. Pencarian obyek wisata melalui kata kunci
3. Menampilkan peta pada web browser dalam format HTML dan SVG. Diharapkan dapat membantu memberikan informasi yang memadai tentang beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan dunia pariwisata.

2. Sight seeing search through keywords
3. Displays a map on your web browser in HTML format and SVG. Expected to help provide adequate information about some things related to tourism.
