ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out how big the influence the effectiveness of interpersonal communication against the performance of governments official in the Organization of the West Java Livestock Services . The population used in this research are the government official in the West Java Livestock Services in Bandung. Sampling by using non-probability sampling techniques with the total sampling approach. This study used a questionnaire given to 104 government official in Livestock Services West Java in May to September 2012. Next the data is analyzed using a quantitative descriptive.
The results showed that the effectiveness of the interpersonal communication a positive and significant effect on performance. The equation is Y = 0,265 X + 18.055. variable X refers to the effectiveness of interpersonal communication and the variable Y refers to performance. After the data is processed, the resulting value (r) of 0,227 shows that there is a weak positive relationship. The contribution of interpersonal communication effectiveness influence on performance of 5.1%, the remaining 59.0% influenced by variables not examined. Test the hypothesis suggests there is influence between the effectiveness of the interpersonal communication on performance.
