ABSTRAKSI: Sistem infomasi merupakan bagian penting yang memberikan nilai lebih bagi suatu perusahaan atau organisasi. Tanpa adanya sistem informasi yang baik, perusahaan akan sangat berat menghadapi persaingan dengan perusahaan lain.
Pada Site Project ini, PT. Telkomsel telah menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel untuk mendukung sistem informasi. Oleh karena aplikasi yang digunakan belum mendukung sistem Client-Server, pada teknisnya implementasi belum dapat memberikan hasil yang tepat dan cepat. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu aplikasi yang dapat menggantikan sistem lama yang diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dan kelancaran aktivitas pada Site Project dengan memberikan hasil penanganan database secara terpusat yang dapat diakses pada saat yang sama pada pengelola site yang berbeda.
Pada Site Project sendiri ada tiga value chain utama yang membangun sistem. Diantaranya adalah SITAC yaitu proyek akuisisi tanah, CME yaitu proyek untuk pembangunan Shelter, dan Tower, dan Equipment yaitu proyek pengadaan Equipment MW, dan lain-lain. Dengan adanya aplikasi yang berbasis client-server ini diharapkan aktivitas-aktivitas di tiap-tiap value chain dapat dikontrol dan dapat memberikan output report yang tepat.
Aplikasi sistem informasi berbasis web ini dibangun dengan berdasar pada suatu analisis dan desain dengan metode terstruktur yakni waterfall. Pada implementasinya aplikasi menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, Apache Web Server, MySQL.Kata Kunci : Site Project, Telkomsel, web, sistem informasi.ABSTRACT: Information System is an important part provide a good point for an organization or company. Without information system exist, a company will be so tough to face competition with the others.
On Site Project, PT. Telkomsel use Miscrosoft Excel application to provide their information system. Unfortunately, Microsoft Excel application can not provides Client- Server system, therefore, technically, implementation haven’t create a good and quick result. So, it need an application that could replace old system that would be expected could make activites of the Site Project run easily and smoothly that could perform centralized database that could be accessed on the same time by different site staff.
Site Project have three main value chain that build the system. The value chain such as SITAC (Site Acquisition), land acquisition project, CME(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Shelter and Tower buillding project, and Equipment, Equipment MW supplying project, and others. With this Client-Server application survive, organization expect activities on each value chain could be controlled and present right output report.
Application of Information System web based will be build based on analysis and design structural method, waterfall. Implementation of application uses PHP programming language, Apache Web Server, MySQL.Keyword: Site Project, Telkomsel, web, Information System.
