ABSTRAKSI: Komunikasi yang cepat, tepat, serta efisien masih menjadi masalah bagi organisasi mahasiswa dilingkungan kampus IT Telkom. Tidak lengkapnya kontak nomor Handphone seluruh anggota, menjadi masalah yang dapat menyebabkan informasi tidak tersebar secara merata. Selain itu proses SMS yang masih manual dinilai tidak lagi efisien. Sehingga dibutuhkan aplikasi SMS yang dapat membantu dan menata sistem penyebaran informasiyang jauh lebih baik lagi.
Untuk itu, pada penelitian proyek akhir kali ini membuat sistem aplikasi penyebarluasan infomasi secara lebih cepat dan tepat dengan berbasis SMS pada jaringan GSM. Dalam aplikasi ini memungkinkan penyebarluasan informasi baik dalam satu grup maupun antar grup yang telah terdaftar di aplikasi ini. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga memiliki fitur SMS schedule yang memungkinkan untuk dapat mengirimkan SMS secara terjadwal. Kemudian terdapat pula firur tambahan yaitu SMS pengiriman ucapan selamat ulang tahun kepada seluruh anggota yang berulang tahun.
Aplikasi ini dapat menyebarluaskan SMS dari ketua grup ke grup itu sendiri dan dari grup ke grup lainnya yang sebelumnya telah terdaftar diaplikasi. Waktu rata – rata yang dibutuhkan server SMS Gateway untuk mengeksekusi SMS adalah 44.28 detik dan dapat mengirimkan SMS selamat ulang tahun tepat pada pukul 00.00 WIB. Serta tersedia user interface yang disediakan untuk admin yang berbasis web dan dijalankan pada local server dengan performansi click time yaitu 196 ms.Kata Kunci : penyebaran, grup ,GSM, SMSABSTRACT: Nowadays mobile phone has become one of the electronical gadget that have a big part in information and communication era. And one of the services that a mobile phone do is a short message service that have a GSM techonology based in celluler communication system and also have certain communication protocol, this thing make any information exchange between mobile phone users in a form of short message become possible.
For that, at the end of this research project to make the system more infomasi dissemination applications quickly and precisely with SMS based on GSM network. In this application allows the dissemination of information both within the same group or between groups that have been listed in this application. This applications can be spread SMS from group to group chairman of itself and of the group to another group that has previously been enrolled applied.
