ABSTRAKSI: Selama ini semua proses pembelajaran di sekolah masih bersifat konvensional, dengan kata lain bahwa proses belajar mengajar antara siswa dan guru hanya dapat dilakukan dengan syarat terjadinya pertemuan antara siswa dengan guru di dalam kelas. Jika pertemuan antara siswa dengan guru tidak terjadi maka secara otomatis proses pembelajaran tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Selain itu, proses transfer ilmu pengetahuan hampir sepenuhnya dilakukan di dalam kelas yang menyebabkan transfer ilmu pengetahuan dapat terlambat jika pertemuan tidak terjadi.
Dalam Proyek Akhir ini dibuat sebuah implementasi e-learning berbasis website dengan model inter-personal dimana konsep ini menerapkan pembelajaran jarak jauh namun tetap interaktif. Bahasa pemograman yang digunakan adalah bahasa PHP dan database My SQLyang terintegrasi dengan sms gateway yang digunakan dalam fitur sms centre.
Hasil akhir proyek ini adalah e-learning yang dirancang mampu memberikan kemudahan dalam proses belajar mengajar antara guru dan siswa serta bagi orang tua dalam menerima laporan maupun undangan dari sekolah. Hasil uji subjektif diperoleh bahwa e-learning sangat membantu dan bermanfaat dalam fungsinya, serta analisis waktu respon yang digunakan menunjukkan waktu yang cukup baik sebagai dasar kelayakan jika web berhasil digunakan untuk skala yang cukup besar.Kata Kunci : E-learning, Website, Sms Gateway.ABSTRACT: During all this time, learning process in schools is still conventional, in other words that the process of teaching and learning between students and teachers can only be done with condition that the meeting between students and teachers is in the classroom. If a meeting between students and teachers do not happen, automatically the learning process can not be implemented. In addition, the process of knowledge transfer is almost ca not be done that led to the transfer of knowledge can be delayed if the meeting did not happen. E-learning can be applied in the teaching process in schools, the effective method is inter-personal, where the method is keep the distance learning but still applying the concept of private learning, so the system is similar to the learning system at school, only more private by applying information technology systems
The result achieved in this final project is implemented the web-based e-learning with inter-personal model, where the concept is to implement distance learning but still interactive. Programming language to be used is PHP language and database integrated with My SQL also sms gateway that will be used in feature of sms broadcaster.
The end result of this project is a an application program that can ease the process of teaching and learning between teachers and students also a system that can allow parents know about attendances report of their children. Subjective test results obtained that e-learning is very helpful and useful in its function, and response time used showed a fairly good time as the basis for eligibility if the web successfully used for a large enough scale.Keyword: E-learning, Website, Sms Gateway.
