ABSTRAKSI: Gereja Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) Bandung Reformanda Resort Bandung Tengah merupakan suatu wadah untuk umat beragama Kristen melakukan ibadah kebaktian dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan pelayanan. Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Gereja HKBP Bandung Reformanda Resort Bandung Tengah adalah salah satu aplikasi sistem informasi yang berfungsi untuk mempublikasikan informasi-informasi kegiatan gereja kepada jemaat seperti: melihat renungan, unduh warta keuangan, unduh kegiatan gereja, unduh surat pemberitahuan, melihat foto dokumentasi, mengirim pesan berupa kritik dan saran, melihat data kepengurusan dan data jemaat gereja HKBP, dan jemaat dapat melakukan registrasi pendaftaran jemaat baru melalui SMS Gateway.
Pada proyek akhir ini dibuat suatu sistem informasi berbasis web dimana admin dapat menginput data pengurus dan data jemaat gereja, input renungan, dan dapat mengunggah warta keuangan, unggah kegiatan gereja, unggah surat pemberitahuan, unggah foto dokumentasi.Web gereja ini dibangun dengan tiga hal utama yaitu PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman, Apache sebagai web server yang dapat dijalankan di banyak sistem operasi (Unix, BSD,Linux, dan Microsoft Windows serta platform lainnya) yang berguna untuk melayani dan memfungsikan situs web. dan MySQL sebagai database server. Pengisian data jemaat pada aplikasi ini dilakukan admin tidak hanya melalui website namun juga melalui SMS dengan memanfaatkan teknologi SMS Gateway. Sistem SMS Gateway dibangun dengan tiga hal utama, yaitu PHP,MySQL dan Gammu (tools server SMS Gateway ) berfungsi menghubungkan komputer dengan handphone yang bertindak sebagai server SMS Gateway yang memproses pengiriman dan penerimaan SMS.
Dengan proyek akhir ini diharapkan pekerjaan administrasi staf gereja akan lebih mudah dan cepat. Para jemaat juga akan mengetahui informasi seputar gereja lebih cepat.
