ABSTRAKSI: Power divider adalah subsistem pada sistem perangkat telekomunikasi yang penting penggunaannya dalam power amplifier,transmitter, dan catuan antena array. Power divider direalisasikan dengan menggunakan konsep lumped element, memiliki satu input dan dua output dengan perbandingan daya masing – masing output adalah 1:4.
Dalam tugas akhir ini telah direalisasikan sebuah pembagi daya tidak seimbang (Unequal Power Divider) yang memiliki 2 port keluaran dengan perbandingan daya keluaran masing – masing port adalah 1:4, berpita frekuensi lebar yaitu berkisar antara 400 – 1000 MHz. Maka, dalam waktu 5 bulan telah didesain dan direalisasikan power divider 1:4 dengan menggunakan metode Wilkinson dan direalisasikan dengan menggunakan lumped element, besarnya nilai VSWR yang ingin dicapai ≤ 1,5, isolasi yang ingin dicapai ≥ 20 dB, dan insertion loss yang ingin dicapai < 0,5 dB.
Untuk mengetahui performansi dari power divider yang telah direalisasikan, maka dilakukan pengukuran dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Hasil pengukuran power divider dengan material Epoxy/FR-4 untuk insertion loss berkisar antara 0,2 – 0,8 dB, VSWR maksimum 1,5598, return loss maksimum adalah -21,896 dB, dan isolasi antar port output berkisar antara 35 – 50 dB.
Dari data hasil pengukuran dapat diketahui bahwa power divider sudah memiliki keluaran antar port output tak seimbang dengan perbandingan 1:4, keluaran port output pertama berkisar antara -7 dB sedangkan port output kedua -1 dB. Insertion loss pada beberapa titik frekuensi tidak memenuhi spesifikasi awal > 0,5 dB, dimana hasil yang didapatkan berkisar antara 0,2 – 0,8 dB. Nilai VSWR maksimum 1,5598 dengan spesifikasi awal VSWR ≤ 1,5. Return loss maksimum adalah -21,896 dB. Sedangkan isolasi berkisar antara 35-50 dB dan telah memenuhi spesifikasi yaitu ≥ 20 dB.Kata Kunci : Unequal Power Divider, lumped element, metode WilkinsonABSTRACT: Power divider is a subsystem in telecommunication device system which has important using in power amplifier, transmitter, and antenna array. In this final project was realized an Unequal Power Divider which respectively having two output ports with 1:4 ratio of output power, wide frequency band at 400 – 1000 MHz. Then, within five months, it has been designed and realized an 1:4 unequal power divider with Wilkinson method and realized using lumped element, the amount of VSWR to be achieved ≤1.5, the isolation between the output port to be achieved ≥ 20 dB, and the insertion loss to be achieved < 0,5 dB.
To determine the performance of the power divider which has been realized, in this final project has also carried out measurements of a power divider with predetermined specifications. The measurement results power divider with Epoxy/FR-4 material for insertion loss ranged from 0,2 – 0,8 dB, VSWR maximum of 1,5598, the maximum return loss is -21, 896, and isolation between the output ports anges from 35-50 dB.
From the measurement data can be seen that power divider already having an output between the output port with an unbalanced ratio of 1:4, the first output ranging from -7 dB, while the second output -1 dB. Insertion loss at some point do not meet the original specification frequency > 0,5 dB, where results obtained ranged from 0,2 - 0,8 dB. The maximum VSWR value 1,5598 with initial specifications VSWR ≤ 0,5. Maximum return loss is -21,896 dB. Whereas isolation ranged from 35-50 dB and meets the specifications of ≥ 20 dB.Keyword: unequal power divider, lumped element, Wilkinson method
