ABSTRAKSI: IT Telkom merupakan perguruan tinggi swasta yang memiliki mahasiswa cukup banyak. Mahasiswa tersebut disaring melalui ujian Seleksi Mahasiswa Baru Bersama(SMBB). Ujian SMBB tersebut dilaksanakan serentak di tempat yang telah ditentukan.
Pada proyek akhir ini dibuat sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mempermudah pengerjaan ujian dan lebih efisien, yaitu aplikasi ujian online SMBB IT Telkom berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini dibutuhkan beberapa tahap, yaitu pembuatan desain web¸merancang database soalsoal, membuat fitur/content yang berkaitan, dan melakukan pengujian. Pengujian tersebut menyangkut pengujian fungsional, pengujian kinerja website, dan pengujian subjektif.
Hasil yang dicapai dalam proyek akhir ini adalah dibuatnya aplikasi ujian online SMBB IT Telkom untuk mahasiswa baru yang lebih praktis dan efisien. Pada pengujian fungsional menggunakan software WSOP, didapatkan hasil class perfect (sempurna), itu berarti tidak terdapat error pada website aplikasi ini. Kemudian dalam pengujian kinerja kemampuan servernya menggunakan software Webserver Stress Tool metode Ramp Test dengan waktu pengujian selama 50 menit, jumlah maksimal user yang diuji 500 user dan click delay selama 10 detik, didapatkan jumlah user pada saat mengalami kondisi stabil (berarti server dapat melayani request (permintaan) dari user dengan sangat baik. Hal ini dikarenakan waktu akses (request time) yang stabil yaitu dibawah 1000 ms [4]) yaitu sejumlah 185 user. Sedangkan tingkat kenyamanan akses user (antara 1000-10.000 ms [4]) yaitu sejumlah 323 user.

In this final project created an application than could make easily and efficiently to do the exam, that is an online exam application web-based of IT Telkom SMBB using PHP and MySQL. In making this application needs several steps, those are namely web design, design database of exam questions, making fiturs/contents and doing the testing of this application. The test involves fungtional testing, performance testing website, and subjective testing.
The results were achieved in this project is an online exam application of IT Telkom SMBB for new students more practically and efficiently. In fungtional testing using software WSOP obtained the result from this testing is perfect class, that means there isn’t error in this website application. Then in testing the performance of server capabilities with testing time 50 minutes, then total maximal user 500 users and click delay in 10 seconds, obtained when the total of user happened the stable condition (it’s means that server can serve the request from client very well. It’s because the request time is stable, that’s less than 1000 ms [4]) are 185 users . While the comfort level of users (between 1000-10.000 ms [4]), namely when accessed by 323 users.
