ABSTRAKSI: Institut Teknologi Telkom atau lebih sering kita dengar IT Telkom merupakan institusi swasta yang bergerak dibidang informasi dan komunikasi. Di kampus ini banyak terdapat fasilitas penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan IT. Namun sistem registrasi dan pemilihan jadwal praktikum di Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi masih dilakukan secara manual. Sistem secara manual dianggap kurang efesien karena untuk registrasi dan memilih jadwal praktikum mahasiswa harus datang ke laboratorium-laboratorium . Sistem baru yang akan dibuat yaitu sistem berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam proses registrasi dan pemilihan jadwal praktikum, sehingga mahasiswa dapat melakukan registrasi dan pemilihan jadwal praktikum dimana saja. Hasil keluaran yang didapatkan adalah berupa web sistem registrasi dan pemilihan jadwal praktikum di Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi IT Telkom yang dinamis dan dapat memperbaiki sistem lama yang manual. Selain untuk registrasi dan memilih jadwal praktikum, web ini bisa digunakan untuk melihat nilai praktikum, upload tugas pendahuluan, serta dapat melihat history praktikum tiap mahasiswa. Pengujian web yang dilakukan menggunakan bantuan software Webserver Stress Tool. Adapun parameter yang diuji yaitu waktu respon web, kecepatan web, dan processor load server pada jaringan LAN dengan waktu uji yang berbeda-beda dan jumlah user yang berbeda-beda pula. Dari hasil uji didapat bahwa server hanya mampu menangani 400user yang mengakses secara bersamaan.Kata Kunci : IT, Web, Software, Processor load server, LAN.ABSTRACT: Telkom Institute of Technology or the more often we hear IT Telkom is a private institution which is engaged in information and communication. On this campus there are many facilities that use IT learning activities. But the registration system and the schedule selection of practicum at the Faculty of Electrical and Communications is still done manually. Manual systems are considered less efficient because for registration and schedule selection of practicum, students need to come to the laboratories. The new system that will be created that is a web-based system which can facilitate students in the registration process and practicum schedule selection, so students can do the registration and practicum schedule selection anywhere. The output obtained is the web based registration system and practicum schedule selection at the Faculty of Electrical and Communications IT Telkom which is dynamic and can fix the old manual system. In addition to register and select the practicum schedule, this web can be used to see the practicum value/result, upload a preliminary task, and can see the history of each student practicum. Tests were performed using the web software assistance Webserver Stress Tool. The parameters that were tested is a web response time, web speed, and processor load on the server LAN network with the test of time varying and the number of different users as well. From the test results shows that the server is only capable of handling 400 users which is accessing simultaneously.Keyword: IT, Web, Software, Processor load servers, LANs.
