Here, I will review about retailing dan wholesaling, retailing means all activities involved in selling good or services directly to final consumers for their personal, nonbusiness use. Whereas retailer is a business whose sales come primarily from retailing. In that chapter, we can see the importance of retailing, types of retailers, retailer decisions made, and the future of the retailer. Supermarket (swalayan) stores are the type most often used as a retail shopping by consumers.

Wholesaling means all activities involved in selling goods and services to those buying for resale or business use. And wholesaler is a firm engaged primarily in wholesaling activities. Wholesaler is very important for the seller because it can sell and promote their products, and cooperate in exchanging information other competitors. The conclusion is retailing and wholesale are very important for companies because they are more active in marketing or selling the company's products. Wholesalers and retailers know in detail who is a customer and they can give you information to suppliers (companies) on the market or competitor information.
