ABSTRAKSI: SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura merupakan sekolah yang memiliki predikat Sekolah Standar Nasional (SSN). Namun sekolah yang berstandar nasional ini belum memiliki sistem informasi maupun situs web. Ketika penerimaan siswa baru, SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura merupakan sekolah yang favorit dibanding dengan yang lain.
Sistem informasi yang dirancang adalah situs web sekolah, aplikasi nilai siswa, dan aplikasi kehadiran. Data yang akan dimuat dalam situs web adalah data tentang sekolah, diantaranya profil sekolah, data guru, data pegawai, data siswa, nilai siswa per semester. Situs ini akan mengutamakan dalam hal visualisasi dari fasilitas-fasilitas yang ada di SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura. Perancangan sistem informasi memiliki beberapa tahap, diantaranya adalah tahap analisa sistem sekarang dan survei kebutuhan. Tahap berikutnya adalah perancangan sistem, persiapan hardware dan software untuk komputer server, dan realisasi sistem. Tahap yang terakhir adalah pengujian sistem, implementasi sistem, dan evaluasi sistem.
Hasil yang dicapai dalam dalam proyek ini adalah dirancangnya sistem informasi SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura yang dilengkapi dengan visualisasi dan informasi fasilitas-fasilitas sekolah yang user friendly serta dilengkapi dengan aplikasi kehadiran dan nilai siswa. Dalam pengujiannya menitikberatkan pada waktu respon, kecepatan, dan processor load.

Information system that is designed school web sites, the application score of the students, and attendance application. Data to be published in the website is data about the school, including school profiles, teacher data, personnel data, student data, the value of students each semester. This site will feature in the visualization of the facilities in the SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura. Design of information systems have several phases, including phase analysis system is now and needs survey. The next stage is designing the system, preparation of hardware and software for computer servers, and the realization of the system. The last stage is testing the system, system implementation, and evaluation system.
The results achieved in this project is to design information system of SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura with information visualization and school facilities that user friendly and equipped with the application and score of student attendance.
