ABSTRAKSI: Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat memacu munculnya beberapa aplikasi baru termasuk didalam bidang telekomunikasi. Salah satunya adalah sistem komunikasi wireless yang berbasis CDMA. Sistem telekomunikasi yang masih bisa dibilang baru tersebut memacu banyak operator untuk berlom-lomba mengeluarkan produk barunya, salah satunya adalah Telkom flexi yang merupakan produk TELKOM yang berbasis CDMA 2000 1X
Dalam aplikasinya sistem telekomunikasi yang berbasis CDMA 2000 1X tersebut menggunakan sistem wireless, yang mana bukan jaringan kabel yang menentukan berhasil dan tidaknya suatu hubungan komunikasi, namun dalam hal ini berhasil dan tidaknya suatu komunikasi di pengaruhi oleh faktor – faktor lain yang menunjang sistem tersebut, salah satunya adalah performansi dari suatu BTS.
Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu analisa performansi dari BTS flexi yang berada di area Ujung Berung, Bandung, dengan cara melakukan Up Tilting Antena BTS 257 yaitu salah satu BTS yang memiliki performansi kurang baik. BTS tersebut belum bisa mengcover daerah Pasir Jati yang merupakan daerah cakupan BTS tersebut.
Dengan Up Tilting antena tersebut performansi Telkom Flexi di area ujung Berung bisa dikatakan meningkat, jari-jari sel dari BTS 257 meningkat dari 0.7795 Km menjadi 1.44 Km sehingga daerah pasir jati sudah dapat tercover oleh BTS tersebut.Kata Kunci : ABSTRACT: Technology growth which fast to so race appearance of some new application inclusive of in telecommunications area. In its application telecommunications system being based on CDMA 2000 1X the use system wireless, which non cable network determining to succeed and its not a communications relation but in this case succeed and its not a communications influencing by the other factor; dissimilar factor supporting the system, one of them is erformansi from a BTS.
This Final project aim to to make an analysis performance from BTS Flexi which reside in area of Ujung Berung, Bandung, by doing Up Tilting Antena BTS 257 that is one of BTS Owning unfavourable performance. The BTS not yet can cover district of Pasir Jati Representing district of The coverage BTS.
With The Up Tilting antenna of performansi Telkom Flexi in area of Ujung Berung can be to mount, cell radius from BTS 257 mounting from 0.7795 Km become 1.44 Km so that district of Pasir Jati have earned covered by The BTS.Keyword:
