ABSTRAKSI: Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) adalah sebuah jaringan wireless dari mobile node yang mempunyai topologi jaringan yang dapat berubah dengan cepat dan tidak dapat diprediksi. MANET terdiri dari 2 protokol routing yaitu proactive routing dan reactive routing. Protokol OLSR termasuk pada proactive routing yang mengirimkan pesan secara berkala untuk membangun atau memperbaharui routing table yang digunakan untuk mengirimkan paket data. Protokol AODV termasuk pada reactive routing yang melakukan proses route discovery sebelum melakukan pengiriman paket data.
Permasalahan yang dihadapi pada saat ini yaitu belum terdapatnya rekomendasi terhadap implementasi penggunaan dari protokol AODV dan protokol OLSR sehingga pada tugas akhir ini dibangun simulasi AODV dan OLSR sebagai alat bantu analisis yang bertujuan menghasilkan rekomendasi mengenai implementasi protokol AODV dan protokol OLSR.

MANET consist two routing protocol, proactive routing and reactive routing. OLSR protocol included to proactive routing which send periodic message for establish or update routing table that used to send data packet. AODV prptocol included to reactive routing which execute route discovery process before send packet data.
Today problematic is not yet recommendation to implementation AODV protocol dan OLSR protocol. Therefore, this final project establish AODV and OLSR simulation for analysis tools that perpose to get better recomendation choice between AODV and OLSR protocol at real implementation.
