ABSTRAKSI: Notasi balok merupakan suatu notasi yang digunakan dalam sistem karya musik. Pada dasarnya notasi balok hanya terdiri dari key signature, time signature, birama dan not dimana masing-masing jenis tadi memiliki fungsi yang berbeda, dan masing-masing jenis tadi akan dikenali dengan menggunakan metode template matching. Template matching digunakan untuk mencari bagian kecil dari sebuah citra input yang sesuai dengan template. Metode ini melakukan patern recognition dengan membandingkan kesesuaian input patern dengan template yang disimpan. Ada dua jenis proses recognition yang digunakan, yaitu proses image correlation dan proses feature extraction. Pada proses image correlation, template yang digunakan adalah dengan bentuk semua kemungkinan dari objek dan hasil pengenalannya dapat langsung ditentukan dari karakteristik template, sedangkan pada proses feature extraction, template yang digunakan merupakan bentuk fitur dari suatu objek yang akan dikenali dengan tujuan mencari fitur-fitur yang ada pada objek. Keluaran yang dihasilkan berupa keterangan yang menjelaskan arti sebuah objek. Ketepatan pengenalan ditentukan oleh dua parameter yaitu nilai notasi dan tinggi notasi. Kedua hasil pengenalan tersebut akan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan teknik akurasi. Dari hasil perbandingan diperoleh bahwa penggunaan proses feature extraction lebih baik jika dibanding proses image correlation karena pada notasi balok variasi bentuk objeknya sangat banyak, tetapi memiliki fitur yang jauh lebih sedikit.Kata Kunci : Key Signature, Time Signature, Template Matching, recognition,Image Correlation dan Feature ExtractionABSTRACT: Beam notation is a notation that are used in the work system of music. Basically beam notation only consist of key signature, time signature, rhythmic and the note where respectively this kind have the different function, and respectively this kind will be recognised by using the template matching method. Template matching is used to look for the insignificant part of an image input that in accordance with template. This method do patern recognition by comparing compatibility input patern with template that is kept. There are two process kinds recognition that is used, that is the image correlation process and the feature extraction process. In the image correlation process, template that is used am with the form of all the possibilities from the object and results of his introduction immediately can be determined from the characteristics template, whereas in the process feature extraction, template that is used am the form fitur from an object that will be known with the aim of searching fitur-fitur available to the object. Output that is produced takes the form of information that explains the meaning of an object. appropriate of recognition process is determined from two parameters which are notation value and tone value. the two result will be compared using accurateness technique.
