ABSTRAKSI: Kebutuhan dan kemudahan dalam pelayanan di bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi seperti data , suara, video dan gambar saat ini berkembang setiap tahunnya . Perkembangan jenis layanan ini disebut triple play ( voice , data, dan video) . GEPON adalah jaringan serat optik berbasis Etherne t yang memungkinkan menggunakan topo logi point - to - multipoint yang didasarkan pada Ethernet dan support 1.25Gbps data rate. Graha Natura Surabaya adalah perumahan yang rencananya akan menggunakan layanan teknologi yang menunjang layanan triple play untuk kebutuhan pelanggan
Pada T ugas A khir ini dilakukan analisis perancangan jaringan fiber to the home (ffth) menggunakan teknologi GEPON di perumahan Graha Natura Surabaya , dengan tujuan u ntuk mengetahui performansi kelayakan sistem dengan melihat beberapa parameter yang terkait didalamnya. Perancangan ini dimulai dengan mengumpulkan informasi d at a perumahan dan per encanaan data service pelanggan Graha Natura Surabaya . Kemudian dari hasil pengumpulan informasi dilakukan pe rancang an jaringan FTTH dengan menentukan spesifikasi perangkat , jumlah perangkat , dan pel etak an perangkat
Setelah melakukan perancangan jaringan FTTH di dapat penggunaan perangkat 9 Main POS/ODC (1:8), 70 Sub POS/ODP (1:8) dan 512 ONU. Total bandwitdh yang dibutuhkan pada perancangan ini adalah 7233,3 Mbps . Berdasarkan analisis perhitungan kelayakan sistem link power budget didapatkan redaman total pada jarak terjauh adalah sebesar 28. 7217788 dB untuk downlink dan 28. 0022235 dB untuk uplink . Hal ini masih berada dalam toleransi yang di tetapkan IEEE803.2ah sebesar 2 9 dB . Hasil uji Rise Time Budget yaitu untuk arah downlink pada ONU terjauh menghasilkan total waktu sebesar 0. 368214174 ns . Untuk arah uplink pada pelanggan terjauh menghasil kan waktu total sebesar 0 . 367711689 ns . Waktu tersebut masih berada dibawah nila i waktu sistem NRZ sebesar 0. 56 ns. Hasil uji performansi sistem S/N sebesar 2 2 . 71803322 dB yang menghasilkan BER sebesar 6. 038141487 x 10 - 10 . Hal ini masih berada dalam toleransi karena BER ideal adalah sebesar 10 - 9
