ABSTRAKSI: Buah Batu Regensi yang terletak di Bandung Selatan merupakan konsep hunian yang lengkap dan modern. PT. Telkom telah memiliki wacana bahwa pada tahun 2013 seluruh Bandung telah menggunakan fiber optik sebagai media transmisinya, tak terkecuali Buah Batu Regensi. Teknologi yang dapat diterapkan untuk melaksanakan wacana tersebut yaitu FTTH (Fiber To The Home) menggunakan teknologi GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) yang dapat mendukung triple play service.
Dalam tugas akhir telah dilakukan perancangan jaringan FTTH dengan teknologi GPON dengan melihat parameter-parameter seperti Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, dan Redaman. Nilai dari parameter-parameter jaringan FTTH tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dengan nilai standar yang dimiliki oleh PT. Telkom Indonesia sebagai perusahaan yang akan membangun jaringan FTTH di Buah Batu Regensi Bandung. Selain itu juga telah dilakukan peramalan demand untuk beberapa tahun mendatang.
Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa perancangan untuk daerah Buah Batu Regensi menggunakan 2 buah ODC dan 87 buah ODP dengan jumlah pelanggan 653 ONT. Hasil uji Link Power Budget yaitu total redaman yang dihasilkan pada uplink sebesar 24.2494 dB, dan total redaman pada downlink sebesar 23.6268 dB, kedua redaman ini masih berada di bawah standar GPON sesuai ITU-T G.984 sebesar 28 dB maupun standar yang dikeluarkan pihak Telkom sebesar 26 dB. Hasil uji Rise Time Budget yaitu untuk arah downlink pada pelanggan terjauh menghasilkan total waktu sebesar = 0.2504 ns. Waktu tersebut masih berada dibawah nilai waktu sistem sebesar 0,2917 ns. Untuk arah uplink pada pelanggan terjauh menghasilkan waktu total sebesar = 0.2504 ns. Waktu tersebut masih berada dibawah nilai waktu sistem sebesar 0.5833 ns. Peramalan kebutuhan bandwidth untuk paket 384Kbps menggunakan model kuadratik dengan kebutuhan bandwidth sebesar 15881.1264 Kbps Paket 512Kbps menggunakan model linear dengan kebutuhan bandwidth 31908.5568 kbps. Paket 1Mbps menggunakan model linear dengan kebutuhan bandwidth 46.1429 Mbps. Paket 2Mbps menggunakan model linear dengan kebutuhan bandwidth 55.6 Mbps. Jadi total kebutuhan bandwidth di Buah Batu Regensi pada tahun 2021 adalah 149.5309 Mbps.Kata Kunci : Buah Batu Regensi, FTTH, GPON, Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, demandABSTRACT: Buah Batu Regensi located in South Bandung is the concept of a complete and modern housing. In the final project design has been carried out FTTH network with GPON technology by looking at parameters such as the Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget, and attenuation. The value of the FTTH network parameters will be compared with the standard value that is owned by PT. Telkom Indonesia as a company that will build a FTTH network in Buah Batu Regensi. This final project design has been be made forecasting demand for the next few years.
The results show that for the design of Buah Batu Regensi using 2 pieces of ODC and 87 pieces of ODP by the ONT 653 number of customers. Link Power Budget of test results of the total attenuation resulting in the uplink of 24.2494 dB, and the resulting total attenuation on the downlink at 23.6268 dB, the attenuation is still below the standard GPON according to ITU-T G.984 standard of 28 dB or Telkom issued by 26 dB. The test results Rise Time Budget is for the downlink with a bitrate of 2.4 Gbps, customers farthest generate total time = 0.2504 ns. This total time is below than the value of time system = 0.2917 ns. For the uplink with the bitrate by 1.2 Gbps, customers farthest generate total time = 0.2504 ns. This total time is below than the value of time system = 0.5833 ns. Forecasting the needs of the future demand in this case for packet 384Kbps use quadratic model with bandwidth needed is 15881.1264 Kbps. For packet 512Kbps use linear model with bandwidth needed is 31908.5568 Kbps. For packet 1Mbps use linear model with bandwidth needed 46.1429 Mbps. For packet 2Mbps use linear model with bandwidth needed 55.6 Mbps.
