ABSTRAKSI: Perkembangan dalam mode akses internet pada suatu jaringan dapat dipastikan bahwa akses internet yang sampai di sebuah client suatu Internet Service Provider (ISP) melewati banyak router, bridge, node atau sambungan dari pihak ketiga. Jika kejadian tersebut terjadi, maka rutenya pasti akan panjang karena melewati banyak router, bridge, node dari pihak ketiga, dan sejenisnya. Implementasi jaringan nirkabel berbasis internet public pada Internet Service Provider (ISP) dengan trafik yang padat, sangat mempengaruhi performansi jaringan yang mencakup pengiriman dan penerimaan data dalam melewati banyak rute yang harus ditempuh oleh end-to-end user. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah rute virtual agar rute yang ditempuh dapat berkurang.
Dalam tugas akhir ini diimplementasikan sebuah protocol yaitu Ethernet over IP Tunnel yang dilengkapi dengan VPN (Virtual Private Network)/PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) Tunnel, yaitu metode pembuatan suatu rute jaringan virtual yang mengacu pada pembangunan dan pemanfaatan tunnel atau terowongan pada jaringan CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) yang dijalankan di dalam VPN/PPTP tunnel untuk sistem keamanan akses antar jaringan yang ada. Dalam implementasi ini, dilakukan analisis layanan pada aspek QoS (Quality of Service) dengan parameter delay, jitter, packetloss, throughput yang berkaitan dengan intensitas peranan protokol Ethernet over IP Tunnel di MikroTik RouterOS™ terhadap performansi jaringan tersebut saat dijalankan. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan hasil uji coba layanan VoIP seperti 3CX phone dengan beberapa variansi background traffic yang ada dengan infrastruktur jaringan CDMA.
Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa pengimplementasian protocol EoIP mampu meningkatkan nilai QoS menjadi lebih baik dengan metode tunneling yang dibuat di atas jaringan internet public pada dua jaringan yang terpisah oleh internet public tersebut. VPN/PPTP tunnel dapat melakukan fungsi enkripsi dengan baik pada implementasi jaringan EoIP tunnel.Kata Kunci : Ethernet over IP,VPN/PPTP Tunnel, Rute virtual, IP Public, VoIPABSTRACT: The developments in internet access mode on a network can be ensured that access to the internet in a client an Internet Service Provider (ISP) through many routers, bridges, node or connection of a third party. In this final assignment, implemented a protocol is Ethernet over IP Tunnel is equipped with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) / PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) Tunnel, a method of making a virtual network service that refers to the development and utilization of the network tunnel on CDMA (Code Division Multiple access) network which is run in the VPN / PPTP tunnel to access the security system between the existing network. In this implementation, analysis services on aspects of QoS (Quality of Service) with parameters delay, jitter, packetloss, throughput is related to the intensity of the role of Ethernet over IP Tunnel Protocol in MikroTik RouterOS ™ on the network performance while running. Analysis is performed based on the results of trials such as 3CX phone VoIP service with some variance existing background traffic with CDMA network infrastructure.
From the result of research, showed that the implementation of the protocol is able to increase the value of QoS EoIP be better made by the method of tunneling over the public internet network on two separate networks to the public internet.
