ABSTRAKSI: Untuk meningkatkan jaminan QoS, ada beberapa metode yang dapat dilakukan yaitu best effort, integrated service (IntServ) dan differentiated service (DiffServ). Best effort adalah metode dimana paket yang datang pertama ke node akan dilanjutkan ke node lainnya. IntServ adalah metode dimana paket yang akan dikirimkan sebelumnya diberi jaminan bandwidth di jaringan, protocol yang berperan adalah Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP). Sedangkan Diffserv adalah metode dimana paket yang akan dikirimkan diberikan prioritas di jaringan agar didahulukan ketika pengiriman data. Untuk menambah performansi forwarding data maka digunakan Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS). MPLS merupakan metode forwarding data melalui suatu jaringan dengan menggunakan informasi dalam label yang dilekatkan pada paket IP.
Tugas akhir ini telah dilakukan analisa perbandingan MPLS-DiffServ dengan MPLS-IntServ pada layanan video conference. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melihat peningkatan performansi dari masing-masing metode yang berdampak pada QoS di layanan video conference.
Dari hasil emulasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini, didapatkan bahwa MPLS-DiffServ mampu menjaga nilai QoS. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil voice delay yang diperkecil hingga 6,5% terhadap MPLS dan 23,9% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, packet loss diperkecil hingga 18,8% terhadap MPLS dan 58,3% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, jitter diperkecil hingga 18% terhadap MPLS dan 25,9% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, throughput voice 2,5% terhadap MPLS dan 20,4% terhadap MPLS-IntServ. Hasil pengukuran dari MPLS-DiffServ pada video delay yang diperkecil hingga 4,3% terhadap MPLS dan 26,1% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, packet loss diperkecil hingga 19,5% terhadap MPLS dan 57,7% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, jitter diperkecil hingga 4,4% terhadap MPLS dan 25,4% terhadap MPLS-IntServ, throughput video 3,2% terhadap MPLS dan 20,6% terhadap MPLS-IntServ.

Best effort is a method of sending a pacakge from the first node to another one. IntServ is a method where the pacakge that are going to be sent, will be given a bandwidth guarantee first, the protocol that involves is RSVP. Diffserv is a method of giving first priority in the network to the package that will be sent. To improve forwarding data performance we will need MPLS. MPLS is a method of forwarding data via network using the information from the IP package label.
In this minithesis MPLS-Diffserv and MPLS-Intserv on video converence service are compared and it has analyzed. This reservation is based on improvement performance of each method that have an impact on the QoS of video conference service.
From the result of the emulation that have done in this research, we know thar MPLS-DiffServ can keep the value of QoS. it is identified based on voice delay that lowered until 6.5% to MPLSand 23.9% to MPLS-IntServ, packet loss lowered until 18.8% to MPLS and 58.3% MPLS-IntServ, jitter lowered until 18% to MPLS and 25.9% to MPLS-IntServ, troughput voice 2.5% to MPLS dan and 20.4% to MPLS-IntServ. the measurement result of MPLS-DiffServ on video delay that lowered until 4.3% to MPLS and 26.1% to MPLS-IntServ, packet loss lowered until 19.5% to MPLS and 27.7% to MPLS-IntServ, jitter lowered until 4.4% to MPLS and 25.4% to MPLS-IntServ, troughput video 3.2% to MPLS and 20.6% to MPLS-IntServ.
