ABSTRAKSI: IPTV didefinisikan sebagai layanan multimedia berbentuk data seperti televisi, video, audio, text, grafik yang dikirimkan melalui jaringan berbasis IP, tetapi harus diberikan dengan persyaratan seperti QOS dan experience, security, interactivity dan reliability. Beberapa feature yang dimiliki oleh IPTV ini adalah IPTV dapat menyiarkan secara live atau prerecorded digital video program-program pendidikan, komersial, dsb. Serta dapat melakukan capturing dan transmisi program dari berbagai source. IPTV dapat melakukan scheduling /penjadwalan program sesuai dengan kebutuhan antara pemilik informasi dan audience. Viewer dapat memilih program dari suatu listing yang akan dilihatnya. IPTV dapat memberikan layanan yang ekonomis namun dengan tidak mengorbankan kualitas layanan. Ini karena teknologi bandwidth transmisi yang efisien, yaitu IP multicasting. IPTV mendukung format standard MPEG (Motion Picturre Experts Group) untuk memberikan high quality, full motion video. IPTV lebih efisien karena tidak perlu membayar instruktur.
Dengan konvergen antara televisi, telephone dan access internet, IPTV dapat berkembang sesuai dengan tren masa kini yaitu IP based, sehingga mudah di akses oleh pengguna dan flexible dalam pemakaiannya. Oleh karena itu, system “IPTV Multichannel Based On Web Server Menggunakan HTTP SSL dan IPSec Sebagai Protektor Pada Sistem Windows“ dibuat sebagai layanan konten yang dapat digunakan untuk teknologi yang menggunakan IP based.
Dengan implementasi yang dirancang ini, membuat layanan IPTV bisa diintegrasikan dengan teknologi web site yang mudah dan flexible pemakaiannya. Sehingga layanan IPTV mudah untuk di akses oleh pelanggan dan di akses dari jaringan internet. Pada aspek tren IT perkembangan dari layanan ini masih sangat bisa dikembangkan di masa depan.

Therefore, the system " IPTV Multichannel Based On Web Server With HTTP SSL And IPSec As Protector in Windows System " is designed as a service content that can be used for technologies that use IP-based.
With the implement this project, make IPTV servis be able to integrated by another technology as web site which is easy user and flexible. So IPTV is easy access with user and able to access in internet network. In aspect IT tren develop this servis may have good future.
