ABSTRAKSI: 3GPP LTE ( Long Term Evolution ) adalah bentuk kemajuan layanan seluler 3G yang menggunakan teknologi wireless broadband. Menurut spesifikasi LTE mampu mengalirkan data hingga 100Mbps untuk downlink dan 50Mbps untuk uplink pada frekuensi 20MHz. Sebagai WBA (Wide Broadband Access) mestinya dapat melayani triple play. Seberapa baikkah kualitas dan kapasitas teknologi tersebut untuk melaksanakannya. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilaksanakan pengujian dan analisi melalui studi lapangan.
Dalam pengujiannya akan dilakukan dua aspek yaitu aspek transmisi (propagasi) dan aspek trafik serta dikaitkan dengan QoS (Quality of Service) yang dihasilkan.
Diharapkan hasil pengujian dapat mengetahui kesesuaian teknik dan fakta dilapangan serta hasil yang didapat untuk bahan perencanaan implementasi lebih lanjut.Kata Kunci : Long Term Evolution ( LTE ), triple play , downlink, uplink,ABSTRACT: 3GPP LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a form of progress of 3G mobile services that use broadband wireless technology.
