ABSTRAKSI: The purpose of this final project, to analyse technically and theoretically performance of FSO transmission system such as the link availability, link distance, scattering, absorption and influence to weather. Method is used at this final project are reference with Free space optic communication, getting support data from PT. INTI, analyze and calculation as according to hipotesis and take the conclusion from the analyze, so that is expected will get reliable performance for transmission network.
Berdasarkan analisa terhadap trafik user, ternyata diperlukan proses rekonfigurasi terhadap jaringan komputer pada gedung GKP PT. INTI. Proses rekonfigurasi yang dirancang oleh penulis memiliki 2 tahap, tahap yang pertama adalah pemilihan terhadap 3 skenario yang dibuat oleh penulis untuk penentuan letak posisi DSLAM, sedangkan tahap yang kedua adalah proses perancangan jaringan VDSL di tiap lantai dengan memperhitungkan berapa banyak line telepon yang dimanfaatkan untuk jaringan VDSL agar jaringan optimal.
Hasil simulasi atas kehandalan rancangan jaringan dengan menggunakan software ITGAcademicEditionv1997 menunjukkan bahwa nilai delay antrian dan delay ethernet dibawah 300ms, nilai throughput 0,41% dari DSLAM ke Modem VDSL dan 0,3% dari Modem VDSL ke DSLAM sedangkan nilai utilisasinya adalah 42,5% dari DSLAM ke Modem VDSL dan 31,5% dari Modem VDSL ke DSLAM.Kata Kunci : -ABSTRACT: One of the existing problems in network at high rise building is determination of network type technology, between floor and also in one floor. That happened too in PT. INTI, in determination of decision have to a lot of becoming consideration like organizational aspect, economic aspect and also technological aspect.
Pursuant to analysis from user traffic, in the reality needed reconfiguration process to computer network at building of GKP PT. INTI. Reconfiguration process designed by writer with 2 phase, first phase is election to 3 made by scenario is writer for the determination of position situation of DSLAM, and the second phase is process scheme of network of VDSL in every floor by reckoning how many telephone lino exploited for the network of VDSL to be optimal network
The Simulation Result of network device mainstay by using ITG
ACADEMICEDITIONV1997 software indicate that value of delay and queue of delay ethernet under 300ms, value of throughput 0,41% from DSLAM to Modem VDSL and 0,3% from Modem VDSL to DSLAM while its value of utilization is 42,5% from DSLAM to Modem VDSL and 31,5% from Modem VDSL to DSLAM.Keyword: -
