ABSTRAKSI: Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi selular akhir-akhir ini mendatangkan banyak operator-operator baru, baik yang berbasis GSM maupun CDMA. Bertambahnya jumlah operator tersebut menimbulkan persaingan untuk mendapatkan pelanggan. Para operator tersebut saling berkompetisi dalam bidang tarif, kualitas jaringan dan pelayanan kepada pelanggan. Untuk mensiasati hal ini, operator Indosat Starone sebagai salah satu operator CDMA 2000 1x yang sedang berkembang pada 23 kota di Indonesia meminta salah satu vendor untuk melakukan drive test performansi jaringan kepada operator Telkom Flexy, Esia, dan StarOne itu sendiri untuk wilayah Bandung. Hasil dari drive test performansi jaringan akan dijadikan acuan bagi Indosat StarOne untuk menghadapi persaingan bisnis
Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis uji performansi sistem komunikasi seluler CDMA 2000 1x dari hasil drive test terhadap tiga operator terbesar di indonesia yaitu Indosat StarOne, Telkom Flexy, dan Esia untuk wilayah Bandung.
Tugas Akhir ini membahas masalah analisis dan uji performansi jaringan seluler yang menggunakan sistem CDMA 2000 1x dengan studi kasus Indosat Star One, Telkom Flexy dan Esia untuk area Bandung. Analisis dan uji performansi ini berdasarkan parameter KPI Drive Test yang antara lain Daya Terima (Rx), Daya Pancar (Tx), Frame Error Rate (FER) dan Kuat Sinyal (Ec/Io).
Dari hasil analisa uji performansi keempat parameter serta pemberian poin kepada parameter kuat sinyal (Ec/Io), daya terima (Rx), daya pancar (Tx), dan frame error rate dapat dilihat bahwa operator StarOne meraih poin tertinggi yaitu sebesar 31 poin, dari jumlah poin tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa operator StarOne memiliki performansi jaringan terbaik dibandingkan dengan performansi jaringan operator Esia dan Telkom Flexy.Kata Kunci : Drive Test, Frame Error Rate, CDMA 2000 1xABSTRACT: Cellular era in Indonesia is more quickly, especially in Jakarta, Bandung and other city. It will be happened by high spectrum, more capacity and capability to serve good sound and the best data. There are some alternatif for cellular network that they can give good sound service and the best data. For Example, The operators use GSM tecnology, they must change into GPRS (general Packet Radio Service) technology , the other hand, The operators use the AMPS or CDMAone (1S-95A snf IS-95B) is one of the best tecnology must change into CDMA 2000 1x technology.
This purpose final examination is to analyze of system performance of CDMA 2000 1x cellular at 3 biggest operators in Indonesia (Indosat Star one, Telkom Flexy and Esia) and they can increase sound canal capacity and serve the best sound and data.
At this final examination, we will discuss about analysis performance test network cellular which uses CDMA 200 1x system in case study at Indosat Star One, Telkom Flexy and Esia in Bandung Area. Analysis and performance test is based on KPI parameter drive test such accepted power (Rx), transmitter power (Tx) , Frame Error Rate, strong signal Ec/Io, and Active PN.
This analysis will be gotten by total of estimation and measurement or drive test and we will excpect from this analysis, that we will know, which operator has the best performance network.Keyword: Drive test, Frame eror Rate
