ABSTRAKSI: CDMA2000 1x adalah salah satu metode akses dari sistem seluler yang digunakan oleh beberapa operator telekomunikasi bergerak yang ada di Indonesia ini. Teknologi Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) ini mampu mengakomodasi layanan data dan suara dengan data rate 153.6 kbps. CDMA2000 1x merupakan teknologi generasi 2.5 dimana teknologi ini memberikan alternatif bagi jaringan AMPS dan IS-95 untuk berevolusi menuju jaringan yang lebih handal dalam sistem maupun pelayanannya
Sebagai salah satu operator untuk teknologi CDMA, Telkom Flexi berpotensi untuk mengalami hambatan atau masalah dalam pelaksanaannya dalam hal kualitas maupun kuantitas dalam hal ini meliputi aspek trafik dan coverage.
Pada tugas akhir ini analisa yang akan dilakukan ditekankan pada aspek trafiknya. Adapun parameter yang akan dianalisa meliputi Call Attempt, Call Answer, Call Seizure, ASR, SCR, SCH, MHTS, Drop Ratio, OCC dan probabilitas blocking. Parameter tersebut akan dianalisa berdasarkan tolak ukur yang sudah distandarkan. Selain itu dapat dilihat penetrasi performansi dari layanan voice, data dan SMS. Untuk menganalisa aspek trafik dilakukan pengamatan selama bulan Oktober dan November 2005 dan didapatkan hasil yang belum optimal diantaranya Answer to Seizure Ratio ( ASR ) sebesar 93.55 %, Successful Call Ratio ( SCR ) sebesar 88,75 %, Seizure per Circuit per Hour ( SCH ) sebesar 2 call/cct/hour, Occupancy ( OCC ) sebesar 27,48 %, Grade of Service ( GOS ) sebesar 3,44 % dan Mean Holding Time per Seizure ( MHTS ) sebesar 13,35 %. Sementara hanya parameter Post Dialing Delay ( PDD ) sebesar 3,5 detik. Sementara untuk drop call pada Semarang area sudah sangat baik yang berada di bawah level 2 %.Kata Kunci : ABSTRACT: CDMA2000 1x is one of method access from system seluler used by some peripatetic telecommunications operator exist in this Indonesia.
