Abstract—Indonesia is a country rich in diversity, including rich culture, traditions, nature, and tourism. Tourism in Indone sia is a rapidly growing sector and continues to grow, attracting the attention of both local and international tourists. Tourist destinations, both natural and urban, are always busy with activity, and places like Bandung are no different. Bandung has a variety of attractions, including natural wonders such as Mount Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih, historical sites such as the Geological Museum and historic buildings along Asia Afrika street, as well as shopping centers and much more. The many choices sometimes make tourists confused about which place to visit. The duration that tourists have will also influence the number of tourist attractions they will visit, so that tourists are less than optimal in visiting tourist attractions that suit their wishes. The optimization method used to recommend tourist destinations, using Cat Swarm Optimization (CSO), makes it easier for users to receive customized recommendations based on their preferences. User data is collected manually and converted to a database within the system. Before data collection is carried out, a data set must be available containing all tourist destinations in the city of Bandung categorized by type. The database is then processed using CSO to produce output which is presented in the form of a travel plan. From this itinerary, users can confirm which destinations match their preferences. Very confirmed, the itinerary can be used as a travel guide, and the route can be navigated using Maps. Index Terms—Tourism, Cat Swarm Optimization, Itinerary.
