Inventory of goods in a business including shops, home industries, companies,
must always be in an organized, recorded and stored in one system. Bakupi Cafe
is a small-scale food and beverage service where technology to support inventory
data collection activities is still lacking because it only uses manual handwriting
and sometimes misses some items, so employees have to buy items that run out
when the cafe is operating. This research is useful for controlling the supply of raw
material stock for Bakupi cafes and hopes to minimize raw material shortages, as
well as increase employee efficiency.
Android operating system is used in this thesis because Android is an open
source operating system owned by Google Inc. Android Studio which uses the Java
programming language is used as software processing for recording raw material
stocks, then the owner or employee can use the software to record input raw material
stocks based on the quantity or weight of raw materials.
The result of this thesis are the Bakupi Stock Monitoring Application has giving
out that the Application has met a 100% in functionality and runs well according to
the Black Box Testing while in User Acceptance Test that given with 6 question to
5 respondent the result obtained with average of 95% agreement. In the Delay and
Throughput testing by using PCAPDroid and Wireshark then the delay can be ob-
tained with 545,83 ms and the throughput obtained with 183,358 bits/s. The Bakupi
Stock Monitoring Application helping the owner and employees of the Bakupi Cafe
in recording raw materials through their own application, as well as increasing the
time efficiency of employees to avoid sudden purchases of raw materials when the
Bakupi Cafe is operating which is time consuming.
