Santhiram Engineering College (SREC), Nandyal organized International
Conference on Advances in Industrial Automation and Smart Manufacturing
(ICAIASM 2019) on 26th and 27th July 2019. ICAIASM 2019 held for the second
successive time in SREC, Nandyal. The aim of ICAIASM 2019 conference was to
bridge the gap between academics, research centers and industry in the field of
Smart Manufacturing Technology. ICAIASM 2019 included oral, poster and
tutorial sessions given by experts in state-of-the-art topics.
The ICAIASM 2019 Conference helped to support and develop technologies for
right understanding and implementation of concepts of smart manufacturing. The
conference discussed about many industrial concepts like industrial IoT and cyber
physical systems, advanced simulation and digital twin, wireless instrumentation,
rapid prototyping and tooling, augmented reality, analytics and manufacturing
operations management and so on.
Sessions empowered and enabled the participants to understand the changes in
global manufacturing scenario. It also projected the global competitiveness of the
Indian goods through smart manufacturing. This Conference ICAIASM is planned
to be held once in two years, and will reflect the changing scenario in manufacturing and will empower the future growth in a sustainable manner.
