The Fourth International Conference on Microelectronics, Electromagnetics and
Telecommunications (ICMEET 2018) is organized by Gayatri Vidya Parishad
College of Engineering (Autonomous), Visakhapatnam, India, during February
3–4, 2018. The objective of the international conference is to provide a globally
respected forum for scientific researchers in the era of technologies. All major areas
in the fields of soft computing, image/signal processing, communication, antenna,
VLSI and embedded system, etc., and associated multidisciplinary problem-solving
techniques and applications are covered. The conference is adorned with keynote
addresses by invited speakers from India and abroad. This is an opportunity for
researchers and practitioners across the world to exchange their ideas and latest
research findings on thrust and burning areas. Altogether, it is aimed at various
issues to increase the awareness of technological innovations and to identify the
challenges and opportunities to promote the development of multidisciplinary
problem-solving societal issues faced by the mankind. We had an excellent
response from the research community actively engaged in different institutes
across the country and abroad. We received around 270 papers, out of which only
82 papers are selected for oral presentation with a view to achieving high quality. In
order to share the cutting-edge knowledge in the stated area of the conference, we
invited four keynote speakers as a prelude to various technical sessions.
The strong desire, to bring the visibility of our academic and research activities
at the national front, got reinforced by the inspiration of our esteemed governing
