According to current statistics, 87 per cent of all navigational tasks in a vehicle in Central Europe are carried out by digitally. Cyclists and walkers alike are making ever more use of handy instrument with long battery lives.
The added value currently promised by these appliances seems to be that we need the best possible information about local opportunities for consumption to distract us from a consuming sense that we have lost our way. If that’s the case, I prefer to keep on looking at maps and town guides.
