Thomas has been given the job of delivering specially made blocks for the building of the Sodor River Bridge. When his brakes stary to fail his friends offer to help. However Thomas is too proud to accept! As Thomas puffs with broken brakes he goes to fast and starts to drop the important blocks on the tracks. But Thomas is too worried to notice. A near catastrophe on the half-built bridge makes Thomas realise his error. He feels very silly and, with the help of his friends, retraces his tracks and finds the missing blocks.
