ABSTRAK
VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network) saat ini sedang menerima banyak perhatian. Seperti jaringan lainnya, VANET dapat menyediakan layanan data, suara dan video. Pada layanan suara terdapat berbagai macam codec suara yang bisa dilewatkan pada jaringan. Untuk mengetahui codec suara yang baik dan efisien yang dapat dilewatkan di jaringan VANET maka perlu dilakukan perbandingan codec yang dilalakukan pada protokol routing dalam VANET.
Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisis perbandingan performansi QoS pada VoIP dengan codec G.711, G.729, dan GSM di jaringan VANET menggunankan protokol routing OLSR. Data untuk analisis akan diambil melalui simulasi dengan menggunakan software network simulator-2.35 yang dijalankan pada sistem operasi linux. Simulasi akan dilakukan menggunakan skenario highway. Parameter QoS yang akan dianalisis antara lain adalah throughput, delay dan packet delivery ratio.
Dari hasil penelitian ini, hasil dari parameter QoS yang didapatkan kurang memuaskan karena belum sesuai dengan standar internasional yang sudah ditentukan, hanya parameter delay yang sudah sesuai. Namun, GSM adalah codec yang paling optimal dalam penelitian ini karena menjukkan performansi yang paling baik yaitu dengan delay rendah dan nilai PDR lebih baik diantara yang lain.

ABSTRACT
VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network) is currently receiving a lot of attention. Like the other networks, VANET can provide data, voice and video. In voice services, there are many variety of voice codecs that can be passed on the network. To find a good and efficient sound codec that can be passed on VANET so necessary to do a codec comparison on routing protocols in VANET.
Performance analysis of VoIP QoS with G.711, G.729, and GSM codecs in VANET network using OLSR routing protocol will be do in this final project. The result for the analysis will be taken through a simulation using network simulator-2.35 software that runs on the Linux operating system. Simulations will be performed using highway scenario. QoS parameters to be analyzed include throughput, delay and packet delivery ratio.
From these results, the results of the QoS parameters in less satisfactory because it is not in accordance with international standards that have been determined, only the delay parameters that are appropriate. However, GSM is the most optimal codec in this study because it show the best performance with low delay and PDR value is better among others.
