PT INTI is a company which has had a corporate functions that can help improve the business processes of the company. On a particular company that already entered in the mature level, should have a function that can help in improving business processes inside. Procurement and logistics function is a function that goes as a support function in PT. INTI. This function aims to support and assist the Director of finance in managing and running the activities of companies that substantially covers the areas of procurement and logistics.
But in 2016, Business focus of PT INTI is changes, where previously the company focuses on engineering solutions, but in 2016 would like to focus on manufacturing business. Because of that changes, the organizational structure of PT. INTI experiencing change. The Procurement and Logistics division was separated and turned into two divisions, they are Procurement division and Material Management division. By this change, PT. INTI need to have a method that can carry out the new business focus. Enterprise Architecture that is used to perform analysis and design of the company’s structure. By this method, the baseline business can be analyzed, and the business target can be design. In the baseline business, PT. INTI already has SAP-Material Management to do the production process in material functions. But SAP-Material Management not yet fully meet the modules required by the new division.
Due to the lack of some function allocation, this study would like to suggest a new application that is Material Execution System of Material Management (MES-MM). The purpose of this application is to add the control and maintenance against the purchasing and inventory functions, where on previous applications are still not applied properly.
