ABSTRAKSI: Pengolahan citra digital adalah pemrosesan citra dengan menggunakan computer digital untuk menghasilkan sebuah citra baru yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Deteksi objek merupakan salah satu proses pengolahan citra yang digunakan untuk menentukan keberadaan objek tertentu di dalam suatu citra digital. Proses deteksi dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam metode salah satunya mendeteksi objek bentuk dan warna. Pada proyek akhir ini diimplementasikan deteksi objek dengan menggunakan webcam yang sebelumnya diberikan suatu objek berbentuk persegi dan lingkaran berwarna merah,hijau, dan biru. Dimana proses pengolahan objek tersebut dimulai dari proses capture kemudian diolah oleh sistem dan dilanjutkan oleh preprocessing. Hasil dari pengolahan sistem tersebut berupa bentuk 2D dengan warna yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari proyek akhir ini adalah sistem dapat mendeteksi objek lingkaran dan persegi. Sistem akurasi 82% dari data uji. Sistem ini memiliki waktu komputasi yang cepat 2.1846 detik.

Object detection is one of the image processing is used to determine the presence of certain objects in a digital image. Detection process can be performed with a variety of methods which one is to detect one shape and color object. In this final project is implemented to object detection, using a webcam that previously is given a square and a circle-shaped object of red, green, and blue. Where the object processing is started from capture processing and then processed by the system and followed by preprocessing. The results of that system processing in form of a 2D shape with a predetermined color. The results of this final project is able to detect the system objects circle and square. System accuracy is 82% of the test data. This system has a computation time 2.1846 seconds.
