ABSTRAKSI: Teknik biometrik merupakan salah satu teknik yang telah berkembang sejak 20 tahun belakangan ini. Mengidentifikasi seseorang lewat bentuk fisik tubuhnya ataupun lewat kebiasaannya. Pola ukuran fisik dan kebiasaan ini apabila diteliti lebih seksama lagi akan menunjukkan kandungan informasi yang berbeda setiap manusianya. Hal inilah yang menjadi sebuah kunci bagi peniliti untuk mengembangkan beberapa aplikasi dari data-data biometrik tersebut. Adapun dalam penelitian ini akan digunakan hidung sebagai objek penelitiannya. Sample hidung setiap orang akan diambil dan diproses untuk menemukan informasi apa yang bisa dijadikan parameter perbedaan setiap individu.

If we search more clearly about pattern of physical and behavioral it can show us that it has some information. That’s the clue for researcher to expand some application from those of information. In this project nose will use for research object.. Every image of nose will taken and processed to find information what kind of parameter can make every people are different .Some ways will used in Pre-processing, there are tecnic for grayscale, median filter, image adjustment, and black white to make this image ready join to characteristic extraction. After finish from Pre-processing step, image will get extraction and every characteristic value nose image will be save into database..For testing process so some image nose for same person will be taken and see the capability if system can indetification that person. There are 7 characteristic will take from nose image.
