ABSTRAKSI: Kebutuhan Teknologi informasi yang terintegrasi dengan bisnis perusahaan akan menghasilkan informasi yang sangat di butuhkan di dalam proses pengambilan berbagai keputusan, dimana akan mempengaruhi perkembangan perusahaan. Namun seiring penggunaan teknologi informasi tersebut, maka perusahaan di hadapkan pada berbagai kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan system. Hal ini akan menyebabkan terhambatnya bisnis dan kehilangan data yang mengakibatkan kerugian pada perusahaan. Pada akhirnya kelangsungan proses bisnis, kebutuhan, dan keamanan penyimpanan data tersebut menjadi factor-faktor utama pertimbangan perusahaan di dalam pengembangan sistem high availability.
Dalam tugas akhir menggunakan DRBD untuk membangun sistem cluster yang diterapkan pada server dengan tujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang memiliki high availability. DRBD akan bertugas untuk melakukan sinkronisasi data antar server.
Dalam hasil pengukuran diketahui downtime untuk mail server paling tinggi sebesar 4.125 detik sedangkan untuk FTP server sebesar 3.1 detik. Nilai availability untuk mail server sebesar 99.995 %. Untuk performansi server master dan server slave memiliki performansi yang hampir sama.Kata Kunci : high availability, sinkronisasi, server, downtime, clusterABSTRACT: The necessity for integrated information technology with the company's business will generate information that is in need in the process of making decisions, which will affect the development of the company. From result of measurement is obtained maximal downtime for mail server is 4.125 seconds while the FTP server is 3.1 seconds. Value availability for mail server availability is 99,995%.
