It’s Scratch’s first day, and he’s a bit scared – he wants to fit in! The team make him feel at home and soon he’s excited about what his first job will be. Today they are working on the Museum gardens. Scratch wants to work but Bob and others machine ask him to watch and learn, He isn’t satisfied – he wants proacticing. So He did, when he digging he found and an artefact- the precious treasure!
Concentrating hard, Scratch remembers everything he’s learned. He digs carefully in the right place, moves slowly to scoop up the artefact, and then puts it gently on the ground! The treasure is an old vase. When the job is finished, Bob shows it to David Monkney. He’s astounted! It’s the great Mockney “Mung Vase” made by his Great, Great Grand display! Scratch admits that Bob was right – he did learn a lot from watching! And Bob and the machines are proud to have him as part of their team!
