ABSTRAKSI: PLN merupakan salah satu perusahaan umum yang memegang peranan penting di masyarakat, karena pasokan listrik yang disediakan oleh PLN diperlukan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat. Untuk meningkatkan pelayanan bagi para pelanggan PLN, PLN membutuhkan sarana yang dapat memberikan informasi layanan PLN bagi para pelanggan dengan berbagai kondisinya. Pelanggan yang memiliki banyak kesibukan memerlukan sarana dalam mengakses informasi–informasi layanan PLN tanpa harus datang ke kantor PLN.<br>Saat ini kebutuhan akan informasi dapat dipenuhi dengan jalur tanpa kabel. Bebagai teknologi bermunculan mengimbangi gaya hidup yang semakin dinamis. Salah satu teknologi itu adalah J2ME. Aplikasi pengaksesan informasi pada perangkat mobile dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman J2ME, merupakan salah satu solusi yang tepat untuk memberikan fasilitas pengaksesan informasi-informasi layanan PLN bagi para pelanggan, terutama bagi pelanggan yang sibuk dan tidak memiliki banyak waktu.<br>Teknologi yang dipakai dalam proyek akhir ini adalah J2ME pada sisi client dan PHP dan MySQL pada sisi server. User pada sisi client adalah pelanggan PLN, dan pada sisi server adalah operator PLN.Kata Kunci : J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition), PHP dan MySQLABSTRACT: PLN is one of public companies that have important role in our society, because of the electricity supply that been provided by PLN is needed by majority of people. To increase services to it’s customers, PLN needs facilities that can give information about it’s services to their costumers in many condition. Customers that are busy people need a facility in accessing informations of PLN services without having to go to PLN service offices.<br> Nowaday, the needs of information can be provided by wireless path. Various technologies are arise in balancing life style that becoming more dynamic. One of the technology is J2ME. Application to access information in mobile device using J2ME programming language, is one of the right solutions to give the customers facility to access PLN services information, especially for customers that are busy and don’t have much time.<br>Technology that being used in this Final Project is J2ME at the client side and PHP and MySQL at the server side. User are PLN’s customers at client side and PLN’s operator at the server side.Keyword: J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition), PHP and MySQL
