<p>Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world with a Muslim population of 236.53<br /> million people or around 86.88% of its population. This makes Islam the most religion<br /> embraced by the Indonesian people and makes Indonesia the largest Muslim country in the<br /> world. This is inseparable from the long history of the entry of Islam in the territory of<br /> Indonesia which was once known as the Archipelago region. The spread of Islam spearheaded<br /> by traders in the midst of Hindu-Buddhist influence was very successful. Then came various<br /> kinds of sultanates with Islamic patterns that helped in the spread of Islam throughout the<br /> archipelago, one of which was the Banten Sultanate. With the influence of the ruler, Islam<br /> can have a strong influence in the land of Banten. Islam which not only entered through the<br /> influence of trade and rulers but also through art and culture that influenced local art and<br /> culture which continues to be passed down from generation to generation to this day. But<br /> unfortunately, the history seems to be lost and forgotten because the interest of young people<br /> in learning history is very minimal. Therefore, the author is interested in designing a<br /> documentary film entitled "Sejarah Islam di Kesultanan Banten". Which in the process of<br /> making it uses mass communication theory, film theory, documentation film theory,<br /> cinematography theory, human resources theory in film, Angel camera theory, sound system<br /> theory, light system theory, and editing theory. As a supporter of it the author conducted an<br /> interview method in the collection of data and facts for this documentary. After that, the author<br /> will process the data to be used as a documentary film with a duration of 9 minutes using a<br /> resolution of 1920x1080 25 frames per second.<br /> Keyword: Documentary Film, Sultanate of Banten, Islamic History</p>
