Abstraksi

PT. X is one of the manufacturing companies in Indonesia that has implemented vision “Zero Accident”. This zero accident has derived into company target, which target the acceptance limit of the occupational accident in the company just three case each year. Eventhough the safety procedures, safety protection tools, and safety audits has already done and implemented well in the company, the occupational accident of the company has increase into six accidents at October 2015. Safety climate is conducted as the next-step safety improvement tool for the company, if the engineering control and procedure has failed to keep the system safe. The research was conducted by spreading safety climate questionnaire to Warehouse divison of PT. X (35 respondents). The questionnaire which consist of NOSACQ-50 quesionnaire question was use to measure the perception of workers towards their occupational health and safety system. The result of the NOSACQ-50 showed the level of the safety climate of the organization. The overall results of measurement showed the safety climate of PT. X Warehouse Division is Fairly Good (3,22 of 4). However the analysis of result of the questionnaire showed that the company still have fairly low impact in handling risks and employee communication regarding safety at their workplace.So, few several suggestion has generated as follows: injury free event, physical artifacts designing, and periodical safety climate measurement.
