ABSTRAKSI: Setiap mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus IT Telkom berhak mendapatkan informasi, salah satunya informasi mengenai beasiswa. Dari hasil kuesioner yang disebar ke 50 mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus IT Telkom, didapatkan hasil bahwa 31 responden mengatakan tidak terlalu sering mendapatkan informasi mengenai beasiswa di lingkungan kampus IT Telkom, dan 15 responden mengatakan tidak pernah. Dalam hal tingkat kesulitan mendapatkan informasi beasiswa sebanyak 26 responden mengatakan bahwa tidak terlalu mudah untuk mendapatkan informasi beasiswa di lingkungan kampus IT Telkom, dan 18 responden mengatakan sulit. Pada saat ditanya mengenai tingkat keperluan mahasiswa di lingkungan IT Telkom dengan aplikasi untuk mempermudah mendapatkan informasi beasiswa di IT Telkom, sebanyak 47 dari 50 responden mengatakan bahwa mereka perlu aplikasi untuk mempermudah mendapatkan informasi beasiswa di lingkungan IT Telkom.
Pada proyek akhir ini dirancang suatu aplikasi sistem informasi berbasis android yang memudahkan para mahasiswa mendapatkan informasi beasiswa di lingkungan IT Telkom. Aplikasi sistem informasi ini akan menampilkan informasi mengenai beasiswa yang terdapat di IT Telkom pada smartphone mahasiswa. Nantinya didalam aplikasi ini akan menampilkan informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa IT Telkom, sehingga mereka dapat mengetahui, memilih, serta memantau perkembangan mengenai program beasiswa itu sendiri.
Aplikasi ini memudahkan para mahasiswa di IT Telkom dalam mencari informasi dan pendaftaran beasiswa mereka. Hal ini sesuai dengan data kuesioner yang didapatkan penulis bahwa dari 30 responden, 21 responden atau 70% berpendapat bahwa aplikasi ini membatu mahasiswa di IT Telkom dalam mencari informasi dan pendaftaran beasiswaKata Kunci : sistem informasi, beasiswa, android, smart phone, IT TelkomABSTRACT: Every student on campus IT Telkom reserve the right to information, including information about scholarships. From the results of questionnaires which distributed to 50 students in campus IT Telkom, showed that 31 of respondents say no too often to get information about scholarships in IT Telkom campus, and 15 respondents say never. On this project we will design an information system based on Android that will enable students to take care of the need to get a scholarship. This information system will display information about the scholarships which can be found in IT Telkom on smartphone. Later in this application will display the information needed by students of IT Telkom, so that they can know, select, and monitor the progress of the scholarship program itself.
This application will enable students in IT Telkom in the search for information and registration of their scholarship.
