Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Bagian Administrasi Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi IT Telkom merupakan sebuah unit pelayanan teknis yang berfungsi untuk mengelola administrasi akademik diantaranya pembuatan surat keputusan dan nota dinas mahasiswa yang mengabil mata kuliah tugas akhir dan proyek akhir. Dalam pembuatan surat keputusan dan nota dinas di Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi masih dilakukan secara manual. Sistem manual dianggap kurang efesien karena membutuhkan proses yang rumit dan waktu yang lama dalam pembuatannya. Sistem baru yang akan dibuat yaitu sistem berbasis berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam proses pembuatan surat keputusan dan nota dinas, sehingga mahasiswa dapat membuat surat keputusan dan nota dinas dalam waktu yang relatif singkat dan proses yang mudah. Hasil keluaran yang didapatkan adalah berupa web sistem informasi tugas akhir dan proyek akhir pada Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi IT Telkom yang dinamis dan dapat memperbaiki sistem lama yang manual. Web ini bisa digunakan untuk membuat surat keputusan dan nota dinas, selain itu web ini bisa digunakan untuk melihat informasi terbaru yang ada pada Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi IT Telkom. Pengujian web yang dilakukan menggunakan bantuan software Webserver Stress Tool. Adapun parameter yang diuji yaitu waktu respon web, kecepatan web, dan processor load server pada jaringan LAN dengan waktu uji yang berbeda-beda dan jumlah user yang berbeda-beda pula. Dari hasil uji didapatkan bahwa server hanya mampu menangani 400user yang mengakses secara bersamaan. Web testing conducted using statistical software Webserver Stress Tool. The parameters tested the response time of web, web speed, and processor load on the server LAN networks with time varying test and the number of different users as well.
