ABSTRAKSI: Teknologi hadir untuk memberikan kemudahan-kemudahan terhadap suatu masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat. Salah satu teknologi yang sangat banyak digunakan oleh pengguna telepon selular saat ini adalah SMS (Short Message Service). Dengan sms tersebut sangat memungkinkan sekali dibangun suatu aplikasi-aplikasi yang berbasis sms, seperti misalnya quis, polling, forum, bahkan bisa juga untuk aplikasi bisnis seperti pemesanan barang.<br>Pada Proyek Akhir ini dibuat suatu Prototype untuk memudahkan pasien yang ingin berobat ke rumah sakit. Prototype tersebut berupa sebuah server SMS Gateway yang dapat melayani registrasi pasien menggunakan SMS.<br>Adapun sistem pada Proyek Akhir ini terdiri dari tiga aplikasi, yaitu aplikasi Registrasi Rawat Jalan, aplikasi Informasi Jadwal Dokter dan aplikasi Pengiriman Saran.. Untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini digunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6 dan MySQL untuk database.<br>Dengan aplikasi ini pasien dapat melakukan registrasi tanpa harus datang langsung ke tempat praktek, cukup mengirim SMS, maka secara otomatis server akan merespon. Prosedurnya seperti pada registrasi biasa, hanya saja dapat dilakukan kapan saja dan darimana saja.Kata Kunci : ABSTRACT: A technology coming to solving many problems. One of many technology in telecommunication cellular is SMS (Short Message Service). With SMS technology can possibly make many application that SMS based like quiz, polling, forum, and application for ordering goods.<br>In this final project was made prototype for make be easy a patient who want to check up in hospital. This prototype was build from a SMS server gateway that service a patient registration using SMS.<br>This prototype consist of three application, Registration for patient , doctor schedule information application, and application for sent a critic. This prototype was made from Visual Basic 6 language and MySQL for database.<br>With this application patient can make a registration withouth coming to hospital. Just sent sms a patient otomaticaly registered from everywhere and anywhere.Keyword:
