Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Identifikasi penyakit pada ulat sutera membutuhkan ketelitian yang tinggi, karena terdapat penyakit yang mempunyai ciri-ciri sama dan hampir sama. Jika terdapat kesalahan di dalam identifikasi, maka akan berakibat salah pula dalam penanganan dan pencegahan penyakitnya, sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan yang lebih parah dan gagal panen. Seorang pakar ulat sutera tentunya telah mengetahui ciri-ciri tersebut dengan melakukan pengamatan dan penelitian.<br>Oleh karena itu, memungkinkan petani ulat sutera dapat lebih cepat mengidentifikasi penyakit pada ulat sutera secara langsung tanpa bantuan seorang pakar ulat sutera. Maka saya dengan menggunakan metode Rule-Based Expert System dan Forward Chaining, akan memberikan solusi untuk mengidentifikasi penyakit pada kokon ulat sutera. Dengan metode ini sekiranya dengan demikian akan lebih efisien dan ekonomis, dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas serta keuntungan petani ulat sutera.Kata Kunci : Kokon Ulat Sutera, Rule-Based Expert System dan Forward Chaining.ABSTRACT: The identification of the illness in silkworms needed high care, because there are some illness that had the same characteristics and almost same. If there is some mistake in the identification, then the result will also wrong in the handling and the prevention of the illness, so there will be more serious damage in the result and to fail the harvest. An expert in silkworms definitely knew these characteristics by carrying out observation and the research.<br>Therefore, enabled the silkworms farmer to be able to be faster identified the illness in silkworms directly without help of an expert in silkworms. Then I by using the method of Rule-Based Expert System and Forward Chaining, will give the solution to identify the illness in the silkworms cocoon. With this method in case therefore will be more efficient and economical, and could it was hoped increase the quality as well as the profit of the silkworms farmer.Keyword: Silkworm Cocoon, Rule-Based Expert System and Forward Chaining.
