Abstraksi

ABSTRAKSI: Ketersediaan sumber informasi yang dapat diakses dari mana saja dan kapan saja menjadi suatu kelebihan dari suatu aplikasi mobile. Salah satu informasi yang sangat dibutuhkan adalah informasi mengenai tempat tujuan lokasi dan kondisi tempat yang akan dituju. Untuk membangun memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang kaya dan inovatif. Sistem operasi Android menawarkan kemampuan untuk membangun aplikasi yang kaya dan sangat inovatif itu serta bersifat open source.<br> Tugas akhir ini membuat suatu aplikasi android Route Site Telkomsel (RST software), Yang membantu pihak vendor dan teknisi dari sendiri dalam mencari lokasi site BTS tidak hanya dengan infomasi alamat dari kantor operatornya, dan aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java dengan beberapa fitur utama yaitu : kordinat shelter, username, password, data transmisi site, dan informasi tentang site shelter. Inti dari aplikasi ini adalah mempermudah vendor maupun engineer operator telekomunikasi mengetahui lokasi dari site shelter BTS dari suatu titik awal menuju ke titik tujuan yang diinginkan. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga terhubung dengan Google maps dan menggunakan GPS untuk mendeteksi ketepatan lokasi pengguna dan lokasi shelter yang diinginkan. Database yang akan digunakan untuk aplikasi ini adalah Mysql.<br> Dari hasil pengujian kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang telah dilakukan,aplikasi ini telah bekerja dengan baik, memberikan kepuasan kepada pengguna dalam pencarian rute terpendek untuk site BTS Telkomsel Karawang, dan nilai akurasi 94.117% dari hasil survey dilapangan. <br>Kata Kunci : GIS, API Google Maps, GPS, Shelter, AndroidABSTRACT: Information’s availability that can be accessed from anywhere and at any time is one advantage of a mobile application. One of the information that is needed is information about destinations’ location and condition. To meet these needs we need a rich and innovative applications. The Android operating system offers the ability to build rich applications which is very innovative and is open source .<br> The final task is to make an android Site Route application for Telkomsel (RST software), which helps vendors and technicians in finding the location of the BTS. Not only the address, this application using the Java programming language with some features which are shelters’ coordinate, username and password, sites’ transmission data, and other information about shelters. The main purpose of this application is to ease vendors and telecom operators engineer to know the location of the BTS shelter from a starting point to the desired destination point. In addition, this application is connected to Google maps and uses GPS to detect the precise users’ location and the desired location of shelter. Database that is used for this application is MySQL.<br> From the results of qualitative and quantitative testing has been done, this application has worked well, giving satisfaction to the user in the search for the shortest route BTS Telkomsel Karawang site, and the value of 94 117% accuracy of the results of the field survey.<br>Keyword: GIS , Google Maps API , GPS , Shelter , Android
