Abstraksi
Since the implementation of decentralization broadcasting that given permit for local television to exist, as provided in broadcasting regulations No.32 year 2002 was given impact to quantity of local television become more growth. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine how RCTV role in providing oversight, social learning, information delivery, transmission of culture and entertainment in the preservation of local culture Cirebon using qualitative research with case study method. The results of this research indicated the roles of RCTV in the preservation of local culture presented by program of this television.
