ABSTRAK

Maraknya perburuan gajah oleh oknum tidak bertanggung jawab mendorong para penggiat konservasi untuk terus menerus memantau populasi gajah di alam liar. Memanfaatkan sistem teknologi informasi, dapat dihasilkan salah satu solusi berupa suatu sistem yang memudahkan khususnya para penggiat konservasi gajah untuk memantau, meneliti juga berinteraksi dengan kawanan satwa tersebut. Dengan mengintegrasikan module LoRa dan GPS serta menggunakan radio frekuensi sebagai media pengiriman data ke website, dapat membangun sebuah alat pendeteksi lokasi gajah di alam liar dengan output berupa titik koordinat serta tampilan peta di website.

ABSTRACT

The rise of elephant hunting by irresponsible individuals encourages conservationists to continuously monitor the elephant population in the wild. Utilizing an information technology system, one solution can be produced in the form of a system that makes it easy for activists of elephant conservation to monitor, examine and interact with these herds of animals. By integrating the LoRa and GPS modules and using radio frequency as a medium for sending data to website, you can build a tool to detect the location of elephants in the wild with an output elephant coordinates and maps on the website.
