Abstraksi

The analysis of research related indicators of OIC countries presented above highlights serious knowlegd, information and research gaps between OIC countries and the develop countries. Where this gaps are widening and while it appears difficult to bridge these gaps, there are example of countries such as Turkey which have made tremendous progress in training high quality scientists and engineers and developing a sound scientific research infrastructure in the pas decade. This is evidence by a rapid increase in the number of international publications by Turkey researchs.
