The study titled "Building Database of English for Business as an alternative Learning Media for Increasing Students’ Interest and Motivation in Learning Language " is a participation form of Indonesian English teachers in utilizing the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to develop English teaching-learning media. The result of this study is a database application that integrates the reading comprehension materials for English for Business which can be run by users (students and faculty) .Reading texts, vocabulary, grammar & structure and reading skills were specifically collected to obtain the information data related to the implementation of a web -based database system. The result of the inventory had produced the standard format of data to be the input of the built system. This application consists of : viewer module, used only for displaying the database intended for the general users (students) and editor module, used to manage the database for the specific user only ( teacher/administrator ) .
